The Crawford Child Advocacy Center (CCAC) proudly announces the appointment of Travis Hitt as its new Executive Director, marking an exciting new chapter in the organization’s mission to protect children, support families, and prevent child abuse.
Hitt brings 15 years of nonprofit experience, including 8 years working directly with at-risk youth and families through Boys & Girls Clubs, and 7 years leading community-driven fundraising efforts for organizations like United Way and Boys & Girls Clubs. His ability to build strong partnerships, engage donors, and uplift families positions him to guide CCAC with both compassion and strategy.
“We know that these tragic things are happening to our kids—right here, in our own backyard,” said Hitt. “Now is the time for us to come together as a community to protect and support our children. No matter your background, if you have even a passing interest in making a difference, I urge you to reach out. There’s a role for everyone in this fight.”
Under Hitt’s leadership, CCAC will expand its efforts to unite the community in supporting child abuse survivors, strengthening families, and preventing future harm. The organization will continue to provide forensic interviews, family advocacy, medical services, and abuse prevention education to ensure that every child has access to justice and healing.
