Our Team

Johanna Reznicek joined The Crawford Child Advocacy Center in September 2018 with a passion for advocacy and a commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and families. She currently continues to serve as the Forensic Services Director while also serving as Interim Director, providing leadership and continuity during this period of transition.

Johanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hastings College and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern College. Her professional career has included work in a variety of settings providing mental health services to individuals, groups, and families. Throughout her career, she has balanced leadership with direct service, with a strong focus on advocacy, trauma-informed care, and creating supportive environments for those navigating difficult circumstances.

In her role as Forensic Services Director, Johanna oversees forensic services and conducts developmentally and culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, and legally defensible forensic interviews with children and adolescents who may have experienced abuse. She also provides Family Advocacy services to support non-offending caregivers and help families navigate the child advocacy process.

Now, as Interim Director, Johanna is committed to providing leadership and supporting the continued work and mission of The Crawford Child Advocacy Center. After eight years with the organization, she brings an understanding and passion for the CCAC its services, community partnerships, and the families it serves. She is honored to continue advocating for children and families while helping through this transition.

Learn More About Jaden

Jaden joined the Crawford CAC team in August of 2026 with devotion to support kind and effective ways of helping children and youth. Through completing her degree at Colorado State University she worked as an Account Manager and Producer for Aflac. She then transitioned to teaching preschool, where she was a lead teacher for two years. Jaden is grateful for the opportunity to combine her past career experiences and work as the Office Manager, supporting CCAC team members, incoming children, and their non-offending caregivers.

Learn More About Gail

Gail was thrilled to join The Crawford CAC in December 2019. She received her Masters in Social Work from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale. She started her career as a Counselor with adolescents in a residential treatment setting in Illinois. Gail previously worked as the Client Services Director where she provided direct supervision of the Social Services Department. Most recently, Gail worked in the office at an elementary school after being a stay at home parent.

As a Forensic Interviewer, Gail will focus on providing developmentally and culturally appropriate and legally defensible interviews of children and adolescents alleging sexual abuse. As a Family Advocate, she will provide services to non–offending caregivers of the children who have been interviewed.

Gail enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking and reading as much as she can.

Learn More About Tera

Tera joined the Crawford CAC in May 2018. She received her Masters in Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver in 2016 and graduated with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2012. She has a clinical background working with children and families in a variety of therapeutic settings. Previously, Tera worked as a Behavior Therapist providing 1:1 therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Forensic Interviewer, Tera will focus on providing developmentally and culturally appropriate and legally defensible forensic interviews of children and adolescents alleging sexual abuse. As a Family Advocate, she will provide services to non-offending caregivers of children who have been interviewed.
