in us in thanking Val Macri-Lind for her many years of service to children in our community. Val co-founded Voices Carry and ChildSafe, and she currently serves as the Clinical Director at ChildSafe. After decades of service as a member of our Board of Directors, Val retired from that role in February. She will remain connected with Voices Carry as a member of the multidisciplinary team and will continue to serve as an expert consultant on clinical issues.
Val has dedicated her career to children who have experienced child sexual abuse. She has received many awards for her distinguished and brave commitment to children, including the Norma Anderson Excellence Award presented by the State of Colorado Division of Criminal Justice Sex Offender Management. She has also been honored as a recipient of the District Attorney’s Victim Service Award of Distinction.
