One of the Crawford Child Advocacy Center’s missions is to prevent child abuse in northern Colorado. We teach both children and adults to recognize and respond to unsafe situations and behaviors. Abuse Prevention for Kids
Safety Smarts is our original, dynamic training program for kids from kindergarten through 4th Grade. It’s a fun, engaging program that students and classroom teachers love! Best of all, it makes children more difficult for predators to victimize and helps current victims speak up and find help.
Abuse Prevention for Adults
Stewards of Children is an evidence-based training from national research and education organization Darkness to Light. This training helps adults recognize factors that increase risks of abuse and gives practical options for responding to those risks.
