Forensic Services

The Crawford Child Advocacy Center offers a set of professional services during the investigation phase of cases in which children are suspected victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, trafficking, or when they may have witnessed domestic violence or homicide. Together, we refer to these as our Forensic Services.

Law enforcement detectives/investigators and caseworkers with the Department of Human Services (DHS) use our Forensic Services to help support the victims and their nonoffending caregivers and to help stop perpetrators. These services can only be accessed directly through law enforcement or DHS.

Although we cannot accept requests for interviews, advocacy, or medical exams directly from the public, if you suspect a child has been abused or maltreated, please report it.
